What MySummaries is, and where each part of it is documented.

MySummaries turns your own notes into a study board, and turns that board into flashcards, written exams, audio lectures and a spoken viva. You paste or import material, arrange it into sections, and every study surface is generated from what is on the board rather than from a question bank somebody else wrote. It runs in a browser at portal.mysummaries.app and on iPhone.

These pages describe what each part does and how it behaves. They are written for someone already inside the app — the in-app coach links here from the control it is pointing at.

• SubjectsA subject is one thing you are studying for — its index, the boards that index builds, and the examiner who writes and marks them.
• BoardsA board is one topic's notes as cards on a sheet, and everything the platform makes is made from it.

• ScratchpadThe inbox each board keeps for material you have not sifted yet — screenshots, documents, pasted text and notes from your phone.
